Crime Scene Investigation

This intensive, hands-on, 40 hour Crime Scene Investigation course is designed for all law enforcement personnel, including patrol officers, criminal investigators, and experienced crime scene professionals. The course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to effectively recognize, secure, process, and document crime scenes while maintaining the integrity of physical evidence.

Upon completion, participants will be better prepared to conduct thorough, systematic, and professional crime scene investigations, strengthen investigative outcomes, and ensure the proper preservation of evidence for successful prosecution.

Instructor Jonathan Pelletier is a retired police detective and former forensic crime scene unit supervisor with more than 30 years of investigative and crime scene experience. He currently serves as a subject matter expert and adjunct professor for the Helms School of Government at Liberty University. Pelletier is a certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst (IAI CSCSA) and a graduate of the Virginia Forensic Science Academy. He brings decades of real-world investigative experience, advanced forensic training, and extensive teaching experience to this outstanding course.
